After graduation from Cambridge University, Edward Hill joined CH Elsom and Partners, and following his two year Diploma worked first in a small private practice and then with Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall. He left in 1977 to found the practice which was to become the Edward Hill Partnership and which he still leads today. His specialist responsibilities within the firm include design co-ordination, presentations, space planning and fitting out.

He has a thorough understanding of the building industry through his life-long association with Higgs & Hill.
